Great male voice exactly what I was looking for but I want it to be like you're reading to me in bed. Slow calm soothing not fast paced like we are in full work mode. I want to fall asleep with a handsome male voice that is not too high not too deep and not doing ASMR but also not talking fast.

I love how there was zero attempt at an American accent for the actress 😂 been listening to this at bedtime for months and just realized today. It doesn't take much from the story, I love the guy's voice and it is meant for background noise anyway. Just funny, I thought.

This one is interesting. Its very low and i cant hear it unless the speaker is close to my ear. Reminds me of the sound of air whooshing while flying in a plane with strange little crackles or pops.

Reminds me of a blizzard minus the snow and whiteout conditions, a very strong fan(which is what i prefer to fall asleep to), water gushing from a dam gate.

Orange is my favorite color so I came here 1st after the 5min simple breakdown video. Reminds me of strong winds that r moving higher up than winds that we would feel on the ground.

To me this sounds like the souls of the damned waking up before they got 2 hours of sleep. Not that it's grating but it is LOUD compared to the others I've heard. Hearing this mixed with red and purple noise was a trip though, this does legitimately sound like the ambience of a horror movie.

Poe was pretty whack! I believe he married his barely 13 year old 1st cousin when he was nearly 30. His opium addiction probably didn't help. Still, an amazing albeit very dark author. Bill Cosby (sad about his behavior) did a parody of the Tell Tale Heart called " The Chicken Heart that Ate up New York City". It is hilarious 😂. I could not finish listening to "The Black Cat". It is too awful!
